The post included a photo taken inside her hotel room. There appears to be a cot in the background, but police will not confirm if there was a child in the room.
Homicide Squad detectives were called in after emergency services rushed to the luxury hotel just before midday to find McShera with severe head injuries.
McShera was a barrister at Murray Chambers, a boutique Perth law firm, where she specialised in child support, family law and restraining orders.In a statement, the firm said the directors, members and staff at Murray Chambers were “deeply shocked at the terrible news regarding our respected and much loved colleague and friend”.
A Crown Resorts spokeswoman confirmed the company was assisting WA Police with the investigation and supporting team members impacted. DeSanges said McShera’s family had been trying to get hold of her and had then contacted the hotel directly. Security staff then went up to the room.
