Presidennya Datuk Peter Khoo berkata demikian berikutan penarafan Kelab Golf Kinabalu, Sabah Golf & Country Club, Nexus Karambunai Golf Resort dan Kelab Golf Tambunan oleh tiga penilai Persatuan Golf Malaysia yang layak bulan lepas.“Penarafan cerun memainkan peranan kerana padang golf datang dalam pelbagai bentuk dan saiz, dan disebabkan perbezaan dalam kesukaran, kecacatan pemain golf tidak diterjemahkan dari satu padang ke padang yang lain,” katanya.
