KANGAR: The Perlis government has achieved its agenda of having zero gambling premises following the closure of the last numbers lottery outlet in the state last Wednesday, says a state executive councillor.

Housing, local government, human resources development and poverty eradication committee chairman Asrul Aimran Abd Jalil said that previously, there were six gaming outlets in the state, of which four had already been closed last year, while the fifth outlet ceased operations on Jan 31.
