IPOH, April 4 — Perak police crippled an ecstasy pill processing and distributing syndicate, seizing drugs worth more than RM5 million after locating two laboratories used to manufacture the illicit substance in Manjung district.
“In the first location where the four suspects were arrested at about 7am, police have seized 245 ecstasy pills weighing about 100 grams and 1,227 grams of ecstasy in powdered form. Mohd Yusri also said that policed have also seized dried leaves believed to be ganja weighing about 2,056 grams, 844grams of crystal methamphetamine and 162 grams of heroin at the second house.“Police also confiscated chemical substances and equipment believed to be used to process and package drugs, three cars and jewelleries. The estimated total value of the seized properties were about RM763,693.00,” he added.
