IPOH: A Covid-19 vaccination centre in Teluk Intan has been vaccinating people who are not under phase two of the national immunisation programme, says the state Health Department.
State Health director Datuk Dr Ding Lay Ming said checks revealed that the vaccinations were provided on June 4 at the Teluk Intan Municipality Hall.
“We also found that a non-citizen was given the vaccination and the management failed to justify why the person was vaccinated before phase three, ” she said in a statement Saturday . Dr Ding added that the management of the centre is committed to ensuring that only those eligible for the vaccination under phase two would be prioritised.
