IPOH: More than 900 Perak Fire and Rescue Department officers and personnel will be working during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri weekend, says Azmi Osman.
Its state director said the department will also be assisted by about 250 volunteer and auxiliary firefighters.
"Aside from incidents on the road, we are also prepared for the possibilities of open fires due to the changes in the monsoon season," he said. Azmi said the department had also placed officers and personnel at Banding, Gerik and along Jalan Simpang Pulai-Cameron Highlands.
