Peniaga kelapa sawit rugi RM285,000 ditipu pelaburan tak wujud
“Pengadu berhubung dengan suspek yang mengaku namanya ‘Annie’ di talian WhatsApp sebelum membuat bayaran secara berperingkat berjumlah RM285,000 ke dalam tiga akaun bank berlainan.
Bagaimanapun, pengadu kemudiannya menyedari laman web tersebut tidak boleh diakses dan membuat laporan polis setelah tidak mendapat keuntungan seperti dijanjikan malah mendapati wang modalnya juga lesap. Beliau berkata mangsa seorang wanita berusia 29 tahun telah berjumpa dengan seorang lelaki menerusi laman Facebook pada November 2020 untuk memulakan urusan dalam skim pelaburan yang menjanjikan pulangan keuntungan kepadanya.
“Wanita itu turut dijanjikan keuntungan lima peratus setiap bulan iaitu RM4,038 namun pengadu baru mendapat pulangan lebih kurang RM12,114 untuk tempoh tiga bulan,” katanya.
