Penang residents advised to store water, says corporation

The Penang Water Supply Corporation says it recorded water levels below 1 metre at about 5am this morning at the Lahar Tiang intake in Sungai Muda, Kedah. – Facebook pic, May 14, 2023.The notice was made after Sungai Muda in Kedah, which supplies water to 80% of Penang, experienced an “extreme drop” in water levels.
