GEORGE TOWN, Feb 28 — The Penang High Court has fixed March 3, to hear amendments in the case relating to four state assemblymen who filed for an injunction against the Penang state assembly on a motion to vacate their seats.
in his submission, he requested for time to file the amendments to their originating summons following the Federal Court ruling on Aug 3 that Article 14A of the Penang state constitution enacted in 2012 was constitutional. “Therefore, the motion must be tabled, debated and voted before the decision is challenged in court and not otherwise,” he said.
