: Pemasangan landasan Projek Laluan Rel Pantai Timur fasa pertama dari Kuantan Port City , Pahang ke Dungun, Terengganu sejauh 92 kilometer bagi jajaran utama, berjaya disiapkan sebulan lebih awal daripada jadual.
“Secara purata kita berjaya memasang landasan sepanjang 1.5 km hingga 2.0 km sehari dan seterusnya menyelesaikan pemasangan landasan dari KPC ke Dungun pada akhir Februari. Beliau berkata demikian pada Majlis Berbuka Puasa Bersama Projek ECRL di sini malam tadi, yang turut dihadiri Exco Kerja Raya, Pengangkutan dan Kesihatan Pahang Razali Kassim yang mewakili Menteri Besar Pahang.
“Kerja pembinaan jajaran ECRL di Pahang dilihat berjalan lancar dan telah mencapai kemajuan 58.97 peratus sehingga Februari, disokong oleh kerja terowong, pemasangan rasuk jejambat, pembinaan stesen dan pemasangan landasan,” katanya.
