They got a call from a concerned citizen driving on Dundas Street near Cedarglen Gate, near Mavis Road, around 7:30 p.m. Thursday. They said there was an altercation between at least two males who were trying to stuff the other male into the trunk and by the time the witness turned around, the trunk was closed and the vehicle was spotted heading westbound on Dundas from Cedarglen.

The citizen and police are not able to confirm is anyone was actually taken against their will or if the male was able to flee the area. The vehicle is described as a dark-coloured sedan, possibly a Volkswagen Passat. The males are described as white or of Middle Eastern descent, in their late teens or early 20s.

Peel police are trying to figure out if an offence took place or not. If you were in the area and saw what happened or have dashcam footage, you can call police at 905-453-3311 ext. 1133.File photo courtesy of Peel policeCtrl+Enter
