A woman in her 20s was rushed to hospital with critical injuries after she was struck by a vehicle near the University of Calgary.
Police say officers responded to the crash, near the intersection of 24th Avenue and Upper Place N.W. on the south side of the university’s campus, around 8:15 a.m.Fire crews and paramedics attended to the woman, who police say was transported to hospital in life-threatening condition.
The vehicle involved remained at the scene. EMS told Postmedia the driver did not suffer any injuries.
