Police have said the driver of the van 'will be spoken to in due course'
Police were called to Bibby's Road in Bispham, close to the junction with Bispham Road, at 11.49am yesterday . A Ford Transit van had been involved in a collision with a pedestrian who was trapped underneath the vehicle.
The pedestrian – a local man in his 80s – was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition. "The driver of the van will be spoken to in due course."
