Police closed down the 700-block of Hillside Avenue near Blanshard Street in both directions just after 11 a.m. “The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation and our traffic analysts should be on scene shortly if not already,” said Victoria Police in a statement Friday afternoon.Police are pictured at the crash scene.
Police say Hillside Avenue between Blanshard Street and Douglas Street is expected to be closed for most of Friday afternoon.The 700-block of Hillside Ave between Douglas St & Blanshard St is currently closed as investigators are on scene for a collision involving a pedestrian. This area is expected to remain closed for several hours. We will update here when roads are open.
