NSW Police are investigating a crash along Canley Vale Road after one pedestrian lost their life and another was rushed to hospital for 'suspected fractures' on Wednesday morning.
Emergency services raced to the intersection of Canley Vale Road and Sackville Street at about 6.20am after a crash involving a 4WD was reported.
The second female pedestrian, also aged in her 60s, was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital for “suspected fractures”. A crash in Sydney’s south-west on Wednesday has killed one pedestrian and left another injured. Photo: Google Maps

Mother from Sydney amongst the victims of Qld helicopter crashA mother from Glenmore Park in Sydney's west, Vanessa Tadros, was onboard one of the helicopters that crashed in Queensland with her son who's been critically injured. The other deceased victims are the pilot and a couple from the UK.
