The Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation has announced it has been named a beneficiary of a legacy gift from the Estate of Douglas Wynne Thomas.The money will be used towards purchasing a Computerized Tomography Scanner.Estate Trustees John Clark and Cynthia Pilon announced the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation, The County Foundation, Hospice Prince Edward Foundation, and the Picton United Church Foodbank would all be receiving gifts at a presentation on May 16.
“The generosity of Wynne Thomas will leave a lasting impact on all of these collective charities and will continue to touch many lives in the area of healthcare, food security and the arts.” PECMHF said in a release.
