Pearly-Thinaah march into quarters in Malaysia Masters FMTNews FMTSports
Malaysia’s Pearly Tan-M Thinaah exchanged 211 strokes with their Japanese rivals in the longest ever rally in world badminton.
Winning the point from the longest rally certainly gave Pearly-Thinaah an added tonic to keep the Japanese duo at bay before walking out as winners. Thinaah said she and Pearly would now focus on avenging their disappointment at the 2023 Indonesia Masters where they lost 14-21, 19-21 in straight sets to Yuki Fukushima-Sayaka Hirota of Japan, their next opponents.
