Yesterday , Jimmy and a fellow lawyer, Tan Chia Wei went to Seri Alam police station to speak with the police regarding the matter, and they confirmed that the police will look further into the identity of the individuals who recorded the incident and masqueraded as police officers.Jimmy also said it was likely that the couple“I’m not condoning the action”
Jimmy added that the couple is currently being investigated under Section 377D Penal Code, where 2 years of jail time is possible for the 22-year-old man. However, he assured the people that he is in no way condoning public indecency. Jimmy revealed that aside from himself, many lawyers in JB are willing to provide free legal aid to the young couple. In the meantime, Jimmy also urged the public NOT to share the viral video on social media.
