A man was concerned to see a dog left inside a parked car in Tampines on July 21, at around 10.15am.
He walked past the carpark of Giant Hypermarket again around one hour later and saw that the canine was still in the car.said:"When I parked my car, the owner was there and left with the dog unattended. I returned one hour later and the dog was still inside huffing."Although this is an open-air carpark, it has a zinc roof which is not heat-resistant.
Members of the public who come across an animal left alone in a car are advised to stay on the scene and try to alert the owner if possible. They may also contact the SPCA at 6287 5355 Ext.9 with details of the car's colour, model, and licence plate number, as well as take a picture or video of the animal in the vehicle.'Poor dog' left inside Shariot van at HarbourFront Centre carpark for at least 30 minutes
