A high-ranking public servant has confirmed a Sky News report that former department secretary, Mike Mrdak, was tasked with examining the government’s response to the devastating Medibank and Optus cyber attacks.
“It’s really common practice to review what has happened and to do lessons learned exercises,” she said.
