According to the report, Dobo, whose kids don’t attend the school, objected to the words on the sign, saying it leaves out many families. “I don’t know if this is a terribly misguided attempt at wishing folks a happy Mother’s Day or just generally the worst sign possible … I don’t feel like this represents the neighbourhood it’s in, the cohort of families at this school, or anything really,” wrote Dobo.Other parents added their two cents with one saying the greeting was in “bad taste” and another saying it was “mega exclusionary.”The message has since been taken down.
