This is important
Every parent should stick a note on the back of their child’s car seat, a paramedic has urged.the ambulance worker wrote
: ‘Way too often we come upon a car wreck with child in the car who are too young to have any info and parents are unconscious.’ He explains that in the case of a car wreck, a child’s life could be saved by having their vital information readily available. Parents should pin a note to the back of their child’s car seat with all the information someone would need to know in case of an emergency: their name, date of birth, parents’ names, emergency contacts, and any medical conditions.
This will not only help emergency response teams to identify the child, but could also give them access to health information that’s urgently needed.Allergies to medications and other substances should also be included on the note, and if a child has existing conditions it’s worth putting their doctor’s contact details on there, too.
