: Seorang lelaki dikejarkan ke hospital selepas mengalami kecederaan parah di bahagian kakinya akibat diserang jerung di New South Wales Australia pada Jumaat.
Surf Life Saving NSW dalam satu kenyataan berkata lelaki berusia 40-an itu diserang jerung di perairan Port Macquarie, sebuah bandar yang terletak di pantai utara negeri itu pada kira-kira 10 pagi waktu tempatan, lapor Xinhua. Ekoran serangan itu kawasan pantai di situ akan ditutup sehingga diberitahu kelak, dengan papan tanda dipasang untuk memberi amaran kepada penduduk tempatan supaya menjauhi kawasan pantai.Pangkalan Data Insiden Jerung Australia menunjukkan lapan insiden serangan jerung berlaku di seluruh negara itu tahun ini sebelum Ogos, menyebabkan dua kematian dan empat yang lain cedera parah di kaki atau tangan.
