Pair Arrested in Clarenville Raid That Nets Drugs, Cash, Crossbow
Two people were arrested and charged following a drug and weapons seizure at a home in Clarenville on Tuesday.
RCMP located and removed a number of items from the Gregory Street home including cocaine, crack cocaine, oxycodone pills, drug trafficking paraphernalia, cash, a crossbow, arrows, an imitation handgun and shotgun rounds. Richard Foss, 44, and Marie Strong, 36, were arrested and held in custody overnight for an appearance in court this afternoon.
Foss is charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, weapons offences and breaking conditions of his previous release from custody, while Strong is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
