State weather bureau PAGASA said on Wednesday that one to two tropical cyclone s are expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility in May.In its 4 a.m. weather forecast, PAGASA weather specialist Rhea Torres said there could be two scenarios.“Sa unang scenario po ay posible po itong lumapit ng ating kapuluan bago ito mag-recurve papalayo ng ating bansa,” she said.

“Yung second scenario naman kung mas mababa po yung entry point ng bagyo or mabuo po ito sa may eastern section ng Mindanao posible po itong tahakin ang bahagi po ng Eastern Visayas, Bicol Region, Mimaropa, at ilang bahagi ng Calabarzon bago po ito lalabas sa may WPS at magre-recurve po ulit palayo ng ating kapuluan,” she said.Many areas in the country have been experiencing “extreme danger” and “danger” levels of heat index.
