ILOILO CITY - Ibinahagi ng isang infectious diseases specialist ng St. Paul's Hospital sa Iloilo City kung paano nila natuklasan na positibo sa coronavirus disease 2019 ang walo sa kanilang mga doktor.Ayon kay Dr. Ella Mae Divinagracia, protocol sa ospital na bago mag-perform ng surgery, kailangang sumailalim sa rapid test ang pasyente.

Ayon kay Divinagracia agad isinailalim sa RT-PCR test ang pasyente at ilang mga doktor. Walo sa kanila ang nagpositibo sa COVID-19. “This patient doesn’t have contact with the index case the medical residents are assigned to specific areas in the hospital so automatically all these identified patients or residents were placed in a quarantine facility in the hospital while awaiting for the result," paliwanag ni Divinagravia.
