The costs for the Liberal platform, released on March 22, included a $2.1 million error. By March 27, a corrected version had been posted online. As a result, the overall campaign spending for 2023-24 was reduced from $57.3 million to $55.2 million. A costing document published by the NDP included incorrect totals in costing for education and left out costing for ER workers. The costing for equity and diversity programs also contained line items from another section.NDP spending over four years adds up to $813 million in new expenditures in the province’s operating budget, including $178 million in spending over the next year.
