Tyne Valley-Sherbrooke MLA Tris Altass has announced that she is seeking the Green Party of P.E.I. nomination for District 23, Tyne Valley-Sherbrooke. ContributedTYNE VALLEY, P.E.I. — Tyne Valley-Sherbrooke MLA Trish Altass is seeking the Green Party of P.E.I. nomination for District 23 in the upcoming provincial election.
As an MLA, Altass helped amend the Health Services Act, amended the Police Act and amended the Employment Standards Act to include pay transparency measures. Before becoming an MLA, she worked as a researcher at the Young Lives Research Lab, formerly at UPEI and as adjunct faculty at Mount Allison University.
