Metro Vancouver has now cancelled an air quality advisory for the region.
Metro Vancouver has cancelled the air quality advisory that had been in effect for Burnaby and the rest of Metro Vancouver since Aug. 25. The advisory stemmed from high levels of fine particulate matter caused by wildfire smoke from B.C. and Washington State.As of now, Metro Vancouver’s Air Map shows Burnaby’s air quality health index at low risk levels, with the index sitting at a 3 for five of the city's six monitoring stations and at a 2 for Burnaby Mountain.
It’s currently 16 C and overcast in Burnaby, rain expected to continue through the afternoon and evening, according to the Weatherhood local forecast. Tomorrow calls for a high of 19 C, with a possible 2 mm of rain, and a high of 18 C and a possible 4 mm of rain on Thursday.
