Opinion: Canada’s right-to-housing commitment is a hollow promise without a massive investment in Canada’s housing system.
Canada is in the grip of a deepening housing crisis. Its impact is being felt in a crushing wave of new homelessness, soaring food bank use, increasing precarity of renters and owners, and acute stress in young people who are feeling overwhelmed by housing costs generally.
