IPOH: The police in Perak have received a total of 18,801 applications for inter-state travel, says Perak police chief Comm Datuk Razarudin Husain.
He said from the total number of applications, 17,263 had been given the approval, while the remaining 1,538 had been rejected, as the applicants had no valid reasons.
“The vehicles were not allowed for inter-state travel, as they did not have permission to do so, ” he said in a statement. He said to ensure all instructions issued are adhered to, the Perak police had set up a special taskforce to monitor the compliance of the MCO.
