A TOTAL of 1,025 gamblers were arrested by the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas during 594 anti-illegal gambling operations conducted in the region from January 1 to 31, 2025.Among those arrested were ushers and collectors.Police also confiscated a total of P125,000 in gambling money.
Maranan said that PRO 7's campaign has strengthened surveillance, undercover operations, and collaboration with the community to identify and dismantle illegal gambling activities.“With community support and coordination with various law enforcement agencies, we are implementing effective measures to address these unlawful activities.
