Martine Mitton, 60, faces two charges after an alleged incident involving another staff member within the Ottawa Catholic School Board. An Ottawa Catholic School Board principal is facing a charge of sexual assault for an alleged incident involving another staff member that took place last year.
According to court documents, the alleged offences occurred in April 2023. According to the documents, Mitton is not allowed to contact the victim or visit any place they are known to frequent, including their home or workplace. Mitton previously worked at St. Clare School in Orléans, according to an OCSB article dated May 2022. She was also principal at St. John Paul II School in Ottawa's east end, according to that school's website, which still lists her as principal.
