Writer Ed Brisson was on-hand at Worlds Collide to debut his newest series, ‘The Displaced,’ which features the city – or rather erases it.
The series is published by BOOM! Studios in the United States. The first issue has already been released, and the initial five-issue arc will continue over the following months. He spent the first 14 years of his life in Oshawa before moving away. He is currently based out of Halifax. “I would come back every couple of years and visit, but it always felt like there was some sort of disconnect, every time I went back, like I was kind of an outsider,” he explained. “There was something about it I could never really quite put my finger on.”
