The sanctioned tobogganing areas would be inspected and maintained for safe community use, while signs would be posted at other hills indicating they are unsanctioned hills that are not inspected or maintained for tobogganing.Oshawa City Council met Monday and the tobogganing ban was defeated.The proposed ban sparked outrage online and city council received a number of comments, opposing the move.
