In my own community, I have been proud of what we have accomplished together despite the unprecedented challenges:Millions invested in renewing the east end’s aging infrastructure, including Jeanne D’Arc, Innes, Eastpark, St. Joseph, Beausejour, and smaller road projects.I secured the funding for new and upgraded sidewalks, pathway connections, pedestrian crossings: the things that make our community accessible and functional.
Over the past four years, as I went door-to-door, I consistently heard the concern for community safety — whether it be speeding on our streets, our children’s walk to school, or concerns about thefts. It is imperative that we all feel safe in our homes and in our neighbourhoods.
