This is according to a Weibo post by reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, which claims that OPPO is developing a 300W SuperVOOC charging system that will be paired with a 4,600mAh battery. Moreover, the report claims that this technology will make its way onto a consumer device within this year.Redmi’s 300W Immortal Second Charger claims to be able to completely charge a phone in five minutes.
It demoed this using a modified Redmi Note 12 Discovery with a 4,100mAh battery, which took only two minutes and 11 seconds to reach 50% and to 100% in just shy of five minutes.The regular version of the Redmi Note 12 Discovery is already equipped with a blazing fast 210W charging, which can fill up the phone in about 10 minutes.
