'All I have seen the past eight years is a lot of disrespect from Ottawa and Victoria.'

The recent open letter to the Office of the Wet'suwet'en Hereditary Chiefs has one very interesting quote: "The residents of northern BC need to live with the type of people attracted to the employment."

I am disgusted with PM Justin Trudeau's stand back and do very little to address major incidents of vandalism, destruction of property and intimidation of workers. In one and only one short visit to the riding during the last election, this Liberal candidate spoke up about the shortage of veterinarians in Skeena-Bulkley Valley. A healthy northwest B.C. community at large does need more veterinarians, but it also needs more human doctors and nurses. This so-called Liberal candidate should have stated that northern B.C. is not just a cash cow for Quebec and the Lower Mainland but deserves proper medical facilities in the north.
