Emergency crews were called to the two-vehicle crash around 1:15 a.m. on Aug. 27 after a Honda Civic and a Toyota Corolla travelling in opposite directions struck one another. RCMP said the passenger of the Honda Civic, a 17-year-old youth from Chester Grant, was dead at the scene. The driver, a 20-year-old man from New Ross, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The four occupants of the Toyota Corolla, a 26-year-old man, a 28-year-old woman, a 28-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, suffered injuries and were transported to hospital by ambulance.
