Incident happened on Sutton Place on Saturday afternoon

One person has been charged after police say they became aggressive and assaulted an officer during a call to the 100 block of Sutton Place on Saturday afternoon.

"Upon speaking with the accused, the accused became aggressive and assaulted an officer by pulling the officer’s hair," says a news release from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service. "Officers were able to gain control of the accused and the accused was arrested." As a result, 35-year-old Shannon Jordan is scheduled to appear in court on May 1 and stands charged with:
