A person is dead following a multi-vehicle crash on Hwy. 401 in Pickering on Friday morning.
Sgt. Kerry Schmidt, spokesperson of the Ontario Provincial Police Highway Division, said in a tweet that it happened just after 5 a.m. on Hwy. 401 westbound near Brock Road.
One of three vehicles involved in the crash was going eastbound in the westbound lanes when it “collided head on with another vehicle,” Schmidt said.Hwy. 401 westbound near Brock Road is closed for investigation.
