Two vehicles crashed in the eastbound lane near Camden shortly before dawn.
Police were called to Menangle Road at Douglas Park at about 4.20am after a collision between two dual-cab utes in the eastbound lane.
The driver of a westbound ute, a male, escaped, but a passenger in the back seat could not get out before the car caught fire.They died at the scene.Drivers are warned to expect delays with the road to be closed for some hours.
