OJ Simpson's family have confirmed that the former NFL star will be cremated on Tuesday in Las Vegas, with his brain not being donated to scientists for research
OJ Simpson, the former NFL icon, passed away on Wednesday and his family has now disclosed their plans for his remains.
Their statement read: "On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace.
Speaking on OJ's wishes, he revealed: "I may consult with the children on it, but I haven't heard anything about it, so it's just not going to happen. OJ wants all of his body cremated for his children to do what they see fit." The spokesperson declared: "Tuesday is the predicted... day that he will actually be cremated. That's what OJ wanted. Those are OJ's wishes, and that's what the kids are telling me."
