NVIDIA has introduced an AI assistant called G-Assist which is specially designed to improve your gaming experience. In a short demonstration, NVIDIA showed the ability of G-Assist to help in various aspects such as game style and computer graphics settings.
For your information, it works by receiving text prompts or voice commands from the player and then combining them with any image displayed on the screen. By using the processing of a large language model and database, G-Assist will respond based on the instructions given earlier. In the demonstration, NVIDIA used the game ARK: Survival Ascended as an example. You can also ask questions such as the appropriate weapon at the beginning of the game session, the most efficient method to defeat the enemy, the skill line that should be specialised and much more. That should maximise your gaming experience.
G-Assist makes it easier for players to find information about a game and players no longer need to browse dozens of websites to do so. In addition to guidance, while playing games, it can also suggest the most optimal graphics settings based on your PC's equipment. For example, it can affect if you play at a rate of 60Hz only while your screen supports a rate of 240Hz. It can also give suggestions to increase the frame rate , by adjusting the graphics settings.
As of now, G-Assist is unavailable to general users. NVIDIA has yet to reveal when it will be commercially launched. However, we can expect it to arrive soon.
