Earl Junior Foster, 23, escaped from the Elliott Police Station watch house, about 250 kilometres north of Tennant Creek, at about 3:30pm.One of the officers suffered a laceration to his cheek during the clash and was transported to Tennant Creek Hospital for treatment.He was last seen wearing a black singlet with the word "dreams" written across the front and back, and black shorts.
He said while Foster was not believed to be a risk to the public, anyone who saw the escaped prisoner should not approach him.Posted
