Former deputy prime minister John Anderson says Chief Minister Natasha Fyles’ performance has been “disappointing” as the Northern Territory’s alcohol and crime crisis worsens.
“I thought it was a very disappointing performance from a very senior figure in the Labor Party,” he told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“Because … she had been saying ‘no race-based bans’, well there weren’t in the first place, they were regional … in those areas where there were real problems. “The same sorts of debit card restrictions and so forth applied regardless of the colour of your skin.”
