A man has been charged with murder after bones were discovered in a burnt-out tree trunk in central west NSW.Bones were discovered on a Menah property during a police searchPolice began investigating the suspicious disappearance of 53-year-old David Collisson after he was reported missing in mid-October.
"We will allege that Mr Collisson was actually shot on the 25th of September and his remains were then disposed of," Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty said in a press conference on Sunday.A search of the site on October 25 led strike force detectives to locate the bones, which are believed to be human, a day later.
They will allege the 33-year-old fatally shot Mr Collisson at the Menah property over a drug-related dispute.
