Teacher/director/producer Lori Sharpe points out it is a decade since a musical was staged at the Alma high school. “Our share of the profit from All Together Now is what we’re using to get this show up and running. We’ve also had great school and community support in the form of costumes, props, materials and sponsorships, as well as offers to sell tickets and do all the behind-the-scenes jobs that need doing. We value each and every contribution.”“She is a great partner in this and we’re lucky to have her,” said Sharpe.
“It is an opportunity that has been missing for students at this school and that is a shame because the talent among our students is spectacular. We weren’t sure what the response to our call for auditions would be but we needn’t have worried.”
