People should disagree with Voice without fear of being labelled ‘racist’: Erin MolanSky News host Erin Molan says voting against the Voice to Parliament does not mean you do not care about issues affecting Indigenous Australians. Ms Molan recalled a conversation she had with a friend who was scared to tell people she was voting ‘No’ for fear of being labelled a racist. “Let's not allow BS and tactics, from both sides to be honest, to distract from what this actually is – not a question of whether or not you care, but a proposal on how to fix the problem,” she said. “Not thinking it's the right one doesn't mean you don't care, and feeling the need to hide that from others for fear of being labelled a racist or worse is a sad indictment of a society who should be able to disagree and debate. “Particularly on issues of critical importance, of which the welfare of Indigenous Australians is and absolutely should be.” Australians will cast their vote at the ballot box for the Voice referendum on October 14, which the polls suggest could be heading for defeat.
