Kin Centre ice the place to be to watch U-18 hockey playoffs this weekend
The Kin Centre is the place to be this afternoon to catch Northern B.C.’s top U-18 hockey teams in BC Elite Hockey League playoff action.
In the triple-A female division, the Northern Capitals are hosting a best-of-three elimination series this weekend at Kin 2 arena. The fourth-place Capitals take on the fifth-place Vancouver Island Seals in Game 1 today at 3:15 p.m. Game 2 is set for Saturday at 5:45 p.m., and Game 3, if necessary, would be played Sunday at 9 a.m. at Kin 2.
Meanwhile, in the triple-A male U-18 division playoffs at Kin 1, the Cariboo Cougars are taking on the Vancouver Northwest Hawks in a best-of-three quarterfinal that starts today at 3:45 p.m.Game 2 of that series is set for Saturday at 2 p.m., with Game 3 to follow on Sunday, if necessary, at 11:45 a.m., both at Kin 1
